Li Zexiang, professor of the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology and president of Jiangsu China-Israel Industrial Technology Research Institute, held a meeting with 82 outstanding students from the School of Robotics Industry of Changzhou University (“Emerging Engineering Education” oriented). At the meeting, Prof. Li had deep conversations with the students and, by introducing in detail the discipline setting and cultivating methods of Ben-Gurion University and other universities in Israel, encouraged them to engage in Israel innovative studies.

T³（Technion Technology Transfer）公司是全以最具影响力的技术合作机构之一，是以色列理工学院创新生态的重要一环。T³公司CEORona Samler表示，愿继续与园区保持良好沟通，发掘双方共同需求，探索开展多形式的合作。

T³ is one of the most influential technology cooperation institutions in Israel and stands at the core of Technion innovation. Rona Samler, CEO of T³, said he would like to keep good communication with CICP, recognize the common demands of both sides and explore diversified forms of cooperation in the future.

4月20日，常州市副市长、武进区委书记李林带队调研园区。

李林带队调研园区，详细了解了中以联合生物交叉实验室、江苏璟和技创机器人有限公司等创新平台和企业的运行情况。他强调，园区要坚持把科技创新放在首位，加大科技项目培育和科技创新力度，确保内生动力不断强化、发展质效显著提升。

On April 20, Li Lin, vice mayor of Changzhou and secretary of CPC in Wujin District Committee, investigated CICP.

Li Lin, led a team to investigate the Park and learned the operation of some innovation platforms and enterprises such as Changzhou University-JCIITRI Interdisciplinary Bio Lab and Jiangsu Jinghe Technology Innovation Robotics Co., Ltd. He stressed that CICP should put scientific and technological innovation in the first place, step up efforts to develop scientific and technological projects, and boost the momentum to improve growth quality and efficiency.

4月24日，2021XBOT PARK智能C端科创训练营·春令营（常州站）正式开营。

此次训练营将通过“线上+线下”相融合的方式，在XBOT PARK松山湖总部和常州、宁波、重庆、香港五个基地同步进行，旨在通过科创训练，帮助怀揣创业梦想的年轻人快速成长，培养世界一流的创新创业人才。在为期6周的训练营中，通过报名筛选成功入围常州站活动的优秀学员将经历破冰组队、行业洞察、用户调研、定义产品、生成创意、样机制作、项目路演等阶段，围绕行业痛点解决方案，努力追逐创新创业梦想。

On April 24, the 2021 XBOT Park Intelligent C-Terminal Scientific Innovation Training Camp · Spring Session (Changzhou Stop) officially opened.

The training camp is held simultaneously in Songshan Lake, Changzhou, Ningbo, Chongqing and Hong Kong both online and offline. It aims to help young people grow their entrepreneurial dreams and cultivate leading innovative talents. In a 6-week scientific innovation training, students who have passed the screening process will go through stages of ice breaking, industry researching, user analyzing, product definition, idea generation, prototype production and project presentation, and strive to pursue their business dreams by solving industrial pain points.

4月27日，园区与中国驻以色列使馆召开视频会议。

中国驻以色列使馆公使衔科技参赞彭斯震，政治参赞王拥军出席会议。彭斯震公参对园区积极推动中以双方互利共赢务实合作表示感谢，他指出：“中以创新合作层级高、领域广，双方交流合作活跃而富有成效。希望园区能进一步挖掘合作潜力，创新合作模式，积极克服疫情等挑战，保持与以色列的密切沟通合作，期待园区未来取得更多成果。驻以使馆高度重视常州园区对推动中以创新合作发挥的重要作用，将继续加强与园区合作，全力配合做好相关工作。”

On April 27, CICP held a video conference with the Chinese Embassy in Israel.

Peng Sizhen, minister counselor of science and technology of the Chinese Embassy in Israel, and Wang Yongjun, political counselor of the Embassy, attended the meeting. Peng expressed his gratitude to CICP for actively promoting mutually beneficial and practical cooperation. As he pointed out, the innovation cooperation between China and Israel is on a high level and covers different areas, and the bilateral exchanges and communications have borne fruits. He hoped that CICP could further tap its potential and innovate cooperation methods, and overcome the challenges of the pandemic to maintain a close relationship with Israel, so as to make more achievements in the future. The Embassy attaches great importance to the critical role played by CICP in supporting China-Israel innovation collaboration, and will further strengthen cooperation with CICP.

Yeda技术转移公司CEOOpher Shapira博士表示，十分期待与园区开展合作，对合作前景感到乐观，希望以本次会议为契机，共同开启双方深入合作的新开端。

Dr. Opher Shapira, CEO of Yeda, said that he looked forward to joining hands with CICP and was optimistic about the prospect for cooperation. He hoped that this meeting would be a good start for in-depth cooperation between the two sides.

4月26日-27日，园区举办“世界知识产权日”系列活动。

4月26日，中以常州创新园与中国（常州）知识产权保护中心签署合作备忘录，双方将在专利快速预审、设立知识产权巡回法庭、探索建立知识产权“一站式管家”制度、建设中以知识产权保护公共服务平台等方面开展深入合作。

4月27日，园区举办知识产权专题活动，宣讲园区知识产权政策，并邀请知识产权领域专家为园区企业解读专利申请的策略与保护。现场40多家企业代表参加活动并与专家进行热烈交流。

From April 26 to 27, CICP had a series of activities to observe the World Intellectual Property Day.

On April 26, CICP signed a memorandum of cooperation with China (Changzhou) Intellectual Property Protection Center. The two will carry out deep cooperation in building rapid patent preliminary review, intellectual property circuit court, one-stop service system and public service platform for China-Israel intellectual property protection. 

On April 27, CICP held a special activity to present the Park's intellectual property policies. Relevant experts were invited to interpret the strategies of patent application and protection to enterprises in the Park. Representatives from more than 40 enterprises attended the activity.

4月28日，江苏省教育厅高教处一行来园区调研新工科教育工作。

江苏省教育厅高教处处长邵进率调研组一行，就推进落实全国人大代表、新誉集团有限公司董事长、江苏省工商业联合会副主席周立成向全国人大提交的关于支持常州开展新工科中以合作办学的提案来园区实地调研。

邵进对周立成代表给予新工科人才培养的关注表示感谢，对常州新工科教育的探索与实践予以了充分肯定。同时，他对园区拟设立的中以科创学院发展提出了具有针对性和指导性的意见建议，并表示今后将一如既往地关注和支持园区产学研深度融合和新工科人才培养，希望能在常州地区的高校中先行先试，并逐步辐射到苏锡常、长三角、乃至全省高校。

On April 28, officials from the Higher Education Division of Jiangsu Education Department came to CICP to investigate its work on new engineering education.

Shao Jin, director of Higher Education Division of Jiangsu Education Department, led a research group to investigate the work of CICP, after a proposal on supporting Changzhou to implement joint emerging engineering education with Israel was submitted by Zhou Licheng, deputy to the National People's Congress, chairman of Xinyu Group Co., Ltd., and vice chairman of Jiangsu Federation of Industry and Commerce.

Shao expressed his gratitude to Zhou for paying attention to the cultivation of new engineering talents, and appreciated the practice of new engineering education by Changzhou. Moreover, he put forward some suggestions on the development of China-Israel Science and Technology Innovation College that was to be set up in CICP. Shao said that in the future, he would continue to support CICP’s efforts in integrating enterprises, universities and research institutes and cultivating talents in new engineering education, which was expected to first take the lead in Changzhou, and gradually radiate to the whole province.

4月29日，中以科技合作与技术对接大会在园区成功举办。

由省商务厅与省贸促会共同主办、省跨国采购促进中心与中以常州创新园联合承办的中以科技合作与技术对接大会（以色列智能制造领域项目线上路演）在园区成功举办。大会聚焦智能制造领域，以线上线下相结合的形式为两国创新资源交流合作提供有力平台。省贸促会副会长丛苏峰，市贸促会会长季斌，武进区副区长、中以办主任李磊出席活动。以色列驻上海总领事馆商务领事韩宁伟、以色列中国商会主席马奕良线上致辞。本次大会共有4家以色列智能制造领域企业在线路演，并有以色列知名孵化器Trendlines线上推介，吸引了近50家国内公司参与对接。活动同步开通网络直播，观看人次超15万次，后续对接意愿约120余项。

On April 29, the China-Israel Science and Technology Cooperation and Matchmaking Conference was successfully held in CICP.

Organized by the Jiangsu Commerce Department and the Provincial Council for International Trade Promotion, and sponsored by the Provincial Transnational Procurement Promotion Center and CICP, the China-Israel Science and Technology Cooperation and Matchmaking Conference (Israeli Intelligent Manufacturing Project Online Roadshow) was successfully held in the Park. The conference focused on intelligent manufacturing and provided a platform for the exchanges of innovation resources between the two countries, both online and offline. Cong Sufeng, vice president of the Jiangsu Provincial Council for International Trade Promotion, Ji bin, president of the Changzhou Municipal Council for International Trade Promotion, and Li Lei, deputy district mayor of Wujin District and director of the Administration office of CICP, attended the event. Niv Hanan, commercial consul of the Consulate General of Israel in Shanghai, and Ma Yiliang, chairman of the Chinese Chamber of Commerce in Israel, delivered speeches. Four Israeli intelligent manufacturing enterprises took part in the online roadshows and Trendlines, a famous Israeli incubator, made an online presentation, attracting nearly 50 companies at home. Live broadcast of the event was launched simultaneously, with more than 150,000 viewers posting over 120 subsequent matchmaking demands.
