新年伊始，市领导带队赴园区开展专题调研。

市长陈金虎，市委常委、组织部部长季培东，副市长杭勇分别带队调研园区科技创新、人才培养及“双招双引”工作。陈金虎表示，希望在“十四五”开局之年，园区紧扣全市“国际化智造名城、长三角中轴枢纽”发展定位，大力弘扬“勇争一流、耻为二手”的常州精神，加快优化区域创新布局，打造集聚全球创新资源强磁场。

At the beginning of a new year, the municipal leadership led an inspection group to visit CICP.

During the visit, Mayor Chen Jinhu listened to the briefing on technological innovation in the CICP. Mr. Ji Peidong, member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Changzhou Municipal Committee, Head of the Organization Department, learnt about the talent cultivation work. Deputy Mayor Mr. Hang Yong was informed of CICP’s progress on investment and talent attraction. The municipal leaders expressed their expectations. It is their hope that in the first year of the 14th Five Year Plan, CICP will accelerate the launch of programs and carry out high-quality work to become an innovation spearhead in Changzhou.

1月8日，园区全新双语官网上线。

On Jan 8, the bilingual website of CICP was officially launched. 

The website was upgraded as part of the effort to expand CICP’s international cooperation. You can visit the brand-new website at http://www.cicp-cz.com.

1月15日，K&S Advanced Systems与RiT Tech两家公司通过“中以常州创新园共建计划”以色列创新署审核。

其中，K&S公司将专注为工厂、实验室和洁净室的灵敏设备及仪器提供适应的震动隔离解决方案；RiT Tech公司将为国内信息基础设施提供优质解决方案。截至目前，园区已有17家以色列公司通过“中以常州创新园共建计划”审核。

On Jan 15, two Israeli companies, K&S Advanced Systems and RiT Tech, passed the IIA’s approval for the CIP Initiative. 

K&S focuses on providing vibration isolation solutions for precision instruments used in factories, labs and clean-rooms. RiT Tech will offer converged IT infrastructure management and connectivity solutions in China. So far, seventeen Israeli companies in CICP have passed the approval for the CIP Initiative.

1月20日，园区与以色列本古里安大学召开视频会议。

会谈围绕常州大学-本古里安大学新工科联合培养计划的相关内容与实施情况展开交流，并就推进2021年度教学合作交换了意见。本古里安大学副校长Limor Aharonson，香港科技大学教授、江苏省中以产业技术研究院院长李泽湘等在线参与了此次会谈。

On Jan 20, CICP held a video conference with Ben-Gurion University. 

The two sides reviewed the implementation of the joint training program in engineering disciplines between Changzhou University and Ben-Gurion University and exchanged views on how to further teaching cooperation in 2021. Ms. Limor Aharonson, Vice President of Ben-Gurion University, Mr. Li Zexiang, Professor of the HONG KONG University of Science and Technology and Director of JCIITRI, joined in the online conference.

1月22日，园区举行项目集中签约仪式。

一批创新平台、以色列独资项目和科技型项目“云上签约”，副市长杨芬见证签约。

On Jan 22, a program signing ceremony was held in CICP. 

An innovation platform, some Israeli-invested programs and technological programs signed to settle in CICP. The signing ceremony was held online. Ms. Yang Fen, Vice Mayor of Changzhou witnessed the signing ceremony.

1月28日，以色列经济与产业部官方微信刊载题为《推进本土化，多家以色列企业入驻中以常州创新园》的文章，为园区点赞。

文章表示，近期以色列Vayyar公司正式签约入驻、K&S与RiT Tech加入“中以常州创新园共建计划”，这些以色列企业入驻园区，充分体现了他们对于中国市场的信心和决心。落地中国以后，他们将更积极的拓展在华市场，为中国企业提供更好的服务。

On Jan 28, Israel economy, the official Wechat account of the Ministry of Economy and Industry of Israel, posted an article reporting the establishment of multiple Israeli companies in CICP.

The article pointed out that recently, Vayyar officially signed to settle in the CICP. Another two Israeli companies, K&S and RiT Tech, joined the CIP Initiative. The move of localization taken by Israeli companies showed their confidence in China’s market. After settling in CICP, they will have a better chance to thrive and offer better service in the Chinese market.
