5月12日，江苏省知识产权局赵旗副局长一行来园区调研。

赵旗副局长一行专题调研了园区知识产权保护工作情况，并与有关企业交流座谈。他指出，园区在国际知识产权保护方面积极探索出了一系列创新举措，收到了很好的效果。希望园区能继续加强知识产权保护力度，进一步提高园区企业自主创新能力，打造中以知识产权创造和保护的新高地。

On May 12, Zhao Qi, deputy director of Jiangsu Intellectual Property Office, led a delegation to visit the CICP. 

The delegation learnt about the CICP’s work on intellectual property protection, and organized a forum with business representatives. According to Zhao Qi, the CICP has made several achievements as it comes up with new initiatives in protecting intellectual properties. It is his hope that the CICP will continue efforts to improve business innovation capabilities, thus becoming a high point in China-Israel IPR protection.

5月18日，重庆市科技局党委副书记雷虹一行参访园区。

雷虹副书记充分肯定了园区近年来在中以创新合作领域取得的成绩，同时介绍了重庆市近年来在科技创新方面的经验做法，双方围绕国际合作与创新进行了深入的交流探讨，并一致希望在未来开展进一步的互动合作。

On May 18, a delegation led by Lei Hong, Deputy Party Secretary of Chongqing Bureau of Science and Technology, paid a visit the CICP. 

After Secretary Lei introduced the practice of Chongqing in promoting sci-tech innovation, the two sides carried out an in-depth discussion on international cooperation and innovation. Both sides agreed that they would further interaction and exchange in the future.

5月27日，中以常州创新园共建计划推介会在以色列江苏创新中心成功举办。

本次推介会采取线上线下相结合的形式，由以色列创新署与园区共同向与会企业解读共建计划。中国驻以色列大使馆公使衔科技参赞彭斯震，以色列驻沪总领事馆商务领事韩宁伟，武进区副区长、中以办主任李磊线上出席活动并致辞。以色列创新署亚太区高级项目经理Adi Maller，以色列中国商会、以色列知名律所及近二十家以色列企业负责人在位于特拉维夫的江苏创新中心参加活动。

On May 27, a promotion conference for the CIP Initiative was held at the Israel-Jiangsu Innovation Center.

The event took place in offline venues as well as online platforms. Attending the conference were  Peng Sizhen, envoy of the Chinese Embassy in Israel; Li Lei, director of CICP Administration Office; and Niv Hanan of the Israeli Consulate in Shanghai, etc. At the Jiangsu Innovation Center in Tel Aviv, the event attracted nearly twenty Israeli enterprises. Staff from the IIA and the CICP made a detailed introduction of the CIP Initiative. Adi Maller, senior project manager in IIA, and personnel from IsCham China and Israeli law firms also took part in the event.

5月30日，园区“新工科”人才培养基地春令营圆满结束。

历经开营、创业系统课程、中期汇报等阶段，为期五周的春季科创训练营迎来Demo Day，科创青年们分享了各自的创意，经过激烈的角逐，最终评出了“最佳洞察奖”和“最佳科技奖”等奖项。

On May 30, the Spring Camp for Cultivating Talent in New Engineering Disciplines was successfully completed.

The five-week spring camp for scientific innovation was composed of an opening ceremony, several training courses and a mid-term presentation.  On the Demo Day, the youths shared their innovative ideas. After a fierce competition, the winners of the "Best Insight Award" and the "Best Technology Award" were finally determined.

6月1日，澳门科技界长三角地区考察团参访园区。

全国人大代表、澳门特区政府立法会议员、澳门科技协进会会长崔世平率澳门科技界长三角地区考察团来园区考察交流，双方围绕科技创新领域的交流和合作进行了深入探讨。他表示，园区将创新资源高效精准对接，加快优质创新成果落地转化，这种模式很具参考价值，双方将进一步加强沟通，共同做好科技创新领域各项对接交流。

On Jun 1, the CICP received visitors from the sci-tech community in Macao. 

Among them was Cui Shiping, Chairman of the Association for Promotion of Science and Technology. The guests exchanged views on sci-tech innovation with the CICP staff. According to Chairman Cui, the CICP does a good job in docking innovation resources and commercializing technologies. In the future, the two sides will continue to deepen cooperation on sci-tech innovation.

6月2日，科技部国际合作司司长叶冬柏一行调研园区。

叶冬柏司长对园区发展成效给予充分肯定，并希望园区未来继续深耕中以创新合作，进一步探索新的合作模式，打造国际合作新典范。他还与园区科技企业负责人深入交流，鼓励企业进一步加强利用国际创新资源，持续提升自主创新能力。

On Jun 2, Mr. Ye Dongbai, chief of the Department of International Cooperation at the Ministry of Science and Technology came to visit the CICP. 

Mr. Ye spoke highly of the growth momentum in the CICP. It is his hope, that by further tapping into China-Israel innovation cooperation, the CICP will become a new model for international cooperation. He also interacted with sci-tech entrepreneurs in the park, encouraging them to improve innovation capabilities based on current resources.
