In the morning of Feb 24, CICP held a video conference with the Economic and Innovation Department, Embassy of Israel in China. Attending the meeting were Head Ms. Maizy Eliash Filkovsky, Assistant Ms. Efrat Stienberg, both from the Economic and Innovation Department, and Ms. Li Lei, Deputy Mayor of Wujin District, Director of Administration Office of China-Israel Changzhou Innovation Park.
After opening remarks, the two sides exchanged views on the development of CICP and China-Israel innovative cooperation.
According to Head Ms. Filkovsky, CICP has great potential as it is an important bilateral cooperation program established under the JCIC (China-Israel Joint Committee on Innovation and Cooperation). It is her hope, that through today’s meeting, the two sides can enhance mutual understanding, further cooperative ties and join hands in offering assistance to Israeli enterprises coming to CICP.
Deputy Mayor Ms. Li expressed her thanks to the care and support from the Israeli embassy. From her perspective, the CICP is dedicated to offering all-round support to Israeli enterprises established in the Chinese market, and focuses on carrying out exchange and cooperation in the fields of culture and education. She looked forward to keeping in close contact with the Israeli embassy. In the future, CICP will offer high-efficient service in terms of signing Israeli enterprises and docking innovation resources.
The conference marked CICP’s first online exchange with the Economic and Innovation Department. Based on the results of the meeting, the two sides will put in place a long-term communication mechanism, tap into more opportunities for collaboration and embark on a journey of innovative cooperation.
