The 2021 China (Changzhou) International Forum on Science and Technology & Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation was held on the 9th of October.

With the theme of “Building a Star City of International Intelligent Manufacturing, Striving to be the Hub for Opening-up and Innovation”, the forum focused on the development of manufacturing and pubilc service sectors. 

It aimed to promote enterprise transformation and industrial upgrade. Funds for innovation and entrepreneurship were launched to facilitate project investment. The event was also broadcast live world-wide with more than 180,000 audience participating online. 

10月9日下午，2021中国常州科技经贸洽谈会隆重开幕。本届洽谈会以“聚力国际智造名城，打造开放创新高地”为主题，采用“线上+线下”模式、突出“城市国际化”新内涵、聚焦“双业”新经济、引进“双创”新基金，促进项目投资，服务企业转型，推动产业升级，深化交流合作。会议吸引了全球超18万观众参与在线直播。

China-Israel cooperation has been an important part in the progress of city internationalisation. CICP has provided global innovators and star-up with a platform that could be found with elements in the forum.

中以合作是参与常州城市“国际化”的重要部分，中以（常州）创新园为全球创新创业提供平台所发挥的载体作用，在本次大会中也有所体现。

At the opening ceremony, Ms. Irit Ben-Abba Vitale, Israel's Ambassador to China, delivered a speech through video. 

She spoke highly of the work has done by the CICP. 

She thinks CICP has become a symbol for China-Israel innovation cooperation, taking the initiative to explore opportunities for collaboration in key areas. 

At the end of her speech, she wished the Forum a great success.

开幕式上，以色列驻华大使潘绮瑞女士发表视频致辞，对中以创新园引领中以合作潮流，大力推动两国紧密合作表示充分肯定，并祝经贸洽谈会圆满举办成功。她说，多年来中以常州创新园始终聚集重点，不断发掘新的合作机会，是中以创新合作的重要象征。

In the exhibition area, the latest products of the enterprises settled in CICP has attracted bunches of the guests, such as the agricultural UAV from Feiyida has raised much interest from the participants.

在会议展区，中国以色列常州创新园陈列展示了“飞翼达”农业植保无人机等一批园区内企业的最新产品，引得与会嘉宾纷纷围观驻足。

As the first demonstration park built by China and Israel under the two country with agreement, the CICP positions itself as a pilot in the mutual innovation cooperation. It aims to become an international science and innovation-driven park, featuring a great number of innovation projects, people with entrepreneurial spirit and professional in various industries.

作为首个由中以两国政府签约共建的创新示范园区，中以常州创新园将围绕“争当中国以色列创新合作领航者”的发展定位，打造“创新浓度最高、创业热度最高、人才密度最高”的国际化科创园区。
