The year of 2020 is the 11th year of cooperation between Changzhou and Israel. New decade, new journey. With the development of China Israel Changzhou Innovation Park (CICP) entering a new stage, Changzhou China-Israel Industrial Technology Innovation Center officially commenced on the 16th of June.

Project Overview

Changzhou China-Israel Industrial Technology Innovation Center is a major project of Jiangsu Province in 2020. The project covers an area of 330 mu (22 hectares), with a floor space of 530,000 square meters and a total investment of 3 billion yuan. In line with the development concept of “one institute, one village, two platforms”, CICP plans to build an innovation & start-up ecosystem with professional platforms for industries like robotics and intelligent manufacturing, life and health, and new generation information technology.

 

One institute

Jiangsu China-Israel Industrial Technology Research Institute

Jiangsu China-Israel Industrial Technology Research Institute, as the core part of CICP’s innovation system, runs in a corporate structure. The research institute focuses on addressing common technical needs of the industry, and offers four essential services: technology research and development, commercialization of technologies, start-up incubation, and talent training based on innovation technology needs in Jiangsu Province and business development needs of Israeli innovative companies.

 

One village

China-Israel International Innovation Village

The China-Israel International Innovation Village adopts the development philosophy of production-life-ecology integration. Well-known Israeli design firms are invited to help with the design of the village. Based on the needs of Israeli talents and experts to work and live in CICP, an international community will be built that combines functions of technology research and development, transfer and transformation, incubation, financial services and supporting services. The village will also have kosher restaurants, synagogues and kibbutz-like public facilities.

 

Two platforms

Incubation acceleration platform & exhibition and promotion platform

The incubation acceleration platform, under the guidance of the CIP Initiative, provides incubation acceleration space and office services for enterprises operating in the park and other Israeli start-ups. The exhibition and promotion platform, with Israel Center - China’s largest center for exhibition, promotion and trading of Israeli technologies, as its core, consists of a conference and exhibition center and a complex building. It will become a comprehensive exhibition and promotion platform with Israeli characteristics.

The main structure of Changzhou China-Israel Industrial Technology Innovation Center is expected to be completed by the end of December this year. During the “5·18” period of next year, the building of Jiangsu China-Israel Industrial Technology Research Institute will be put into use. By the end of August next year, the project will be completed and delivered as a whole. At that time, CICP will meet the public with a brand new look.

CICP positions itself as a pioneer in China-Israel innovation cooperation.In the future, CICP will strive to become a technological innovation park with great innovation capabilities, a strong pro-business atmosphere and a big talent pool.
